_”Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.”_
The grandest duty you owe God is to love Him as the Lord your God- _”Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”_ Matt.22:37
You are to love God because He first and foremost loved you- _”We love him, because he first loved us.”_ 1John 4:19
Your love to God is to reciprocate His love to you.
The greatest love of God to human race was to sacrificially give his only begotten Son- _”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”_ John 3:16
This unconditional love of God is the masterkey that unlocks the all of God for you- _”He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”_ Rom.8:32
The true measure of the love of God must not be in words but in deeds- _”My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”_ John 3:18
When you really love God, you will-:
1. *L-LIVE FOR HIM*- _”In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.”_ 1John 4:9
2. *O-OBEY HIM*- _”But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.”_ 1John 2:5
3. *V-VENERATE HIM*- _”Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”_ 2Cor.7:1
4. *E-ENDURE FOR HIM*- _”Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”_ Jam.1:12
*How far you love God will determine how well all things will work out for your good and for His purpose*- _”And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”_ Rom.8:28
