Welcome to 16/11 and the IRREFUTABLE LAW OF FAITHFULNESS is in Luke 16/11-
“If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”
How faithful you are today will determine how fruitful you will be tomorrow.
Your fruitfulness today is a product of your faithfulness yesterday.
What you are unfaithful in today can frustrate your fruitfulness tomorrow.
Faithfulness is a seed you sow today to reap fruitfulness tomorrow.
Unfaithfulness is also a seed you sow today to reap fruitlessness tomorrow.
You will sooner or later become the unfailing byproduct of your faithfulness or unfaithfulness.
1. Adam and Eve were unfaithful to the commandments of God and became frustrated from the garden of Eden. Gen.3
2. Reuben was unfaithful in marital fidelity and became eternally frustrated from excellence- “Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power: Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it : he went up to my couch.” Gen.49:3,4
3. Saul was unfaithful as the first king of Israel and frustrated his lineage from being perpetual kings over Israel- “And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the Lord , and the Lord hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.” 1Sam.15:26
4. Judas was unfaithful as the disciple and treasurer of Jesus. This frustrated him from becoming part of the post resurrection apostles of Jesus and missed out being named in the foundation of heavenly Jerusalem- “And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Rev.21:14
Faithfulness on earth will determine your fruitfulness,flourishing and fulfillment on earth and in eternity.
Unfaithfulness will cause you to lose out on earth and in eternity.
Prayer
O Lord make addicted to faithfulness so as to enjoy your fruitfulness, flourishing and fulfillment on earth and in eternity in Jesus name.
