_”And there was great joy in that city”_
Philip the evangelist came down to the city of Samaria- _”Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.”_ vs 5,6
Jesus confirmed his words with undeniable diverse miracles and wonders.
This made the whole city to have great joy because a carrier and demonstrator of Jesus came visiting.
The grandest desire of God is to make you His major distributor of great joy to your family, friends, community, workplace, city, nation and generation.
Jesus was born into the world to grant great joy to all people – _”And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”_ Luke 2:10,11
*There are two kinds of people in the world, which are people that cause pain to their world like Haman*- _”The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.”_ Esth. 3:15
*The others are those that cause great joy to their world like Mordecai* – _”And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad. The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honour.”_ Esth.8:15,16
*Disobedience can make you bring great sorrow to God just like king Saul* – _”Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel, saying, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the Lord all night.”_ 1Sam.15:10,11
*Repentance and Soul winning always bring great joy to heaven* – _”Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”_ Luke 15:10
*How far you are fulfilling your purpose in life can be determined by how well your life becomes channel of joy to heaven and your world*

_O Lord cause me to become channel of great joy and good tidings to heaven and my world in Jesus name._
