Welcome to *20/06* and the *REVELATION OF GOD TO EXPLORE* is in *2 Chronicles 20/06*-
_”and said, “O LORD God of our fathers, art not Thou God in heaven? And rulest not Thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? And in Thine hand is there not power and might, so that none can withstand Thee?”_
King Jehoshaphat was confronted by three mightier nations which made him afraid.
He summoned courage and rallied the whole nation of Judah for prayers – _”And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.”_ vs 3
The first and foremost thing he did in the place of prayers was to acknowledge the personality of God.
Jehoshaphat prayed with the revelation of
1. *WHO GOD IS* – _” and said, “O LORD God of our fathers”_
2. *WHERE GOD IS* – _”Art, not Thou God in heaven?”_
3. *WHAT GOD DOES*- _”And rulest not Thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen?”_
4. *HOW GOD WORKS* – _”And in Thine hand is there not power and might, so that none can withstand Thee?”_
It was this revelation that made Jehoshaphat and all Judah seek the help of God against their enemies.
It was this revelation that made Jehoshaphat and his army confront their enemies with songs of praise to God instead of weapons of war.
It was this revelation that made God take over the battle and defeat all their enemies without Jehoshaphat and Judah needing to fight.
It was this revelation that Jehoshaphat acted upon that gave him all round victory, blessings and dominion over all his enemies.
